SHILPA SAXENA, MD is a fellow and guest faculty member at the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine, a lead faculty member of The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), a volunteer assistant professor for Family Medicine and Community Health at the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami, and clinical faculty at the George Washington University School of Medicine. Dedicated to stop the worldwide chronic disease epidemic, she speaks at engagements internationally and domestically to educate, encourage, inspire, and empower physicians and patients in their transformation toward well-being. Dr. Saxena founded the n1Health SevaMed Institute in Lutz, FL and has practiced functional medicine for over 15 years. In addition to co-authoring a cookbook, The Ingredients Matter: India, she appears on local TV and talk-radio shows.
